The Best Hotel In Prague!

Decadent in historic luxury, the Art Deco Imperial Hotel is a must when traveling through Prague. When I walked through the doors, I was genuinely shocked and immediately concerned. For one thing, I had just been lugging my suitcase around off a bus for 20 minutes and had no idea what I looked like walking into a 5 star hotel. The second thing I was sure of is that I was in the wrong place. Hotels in Europe are different to say the least. You’re either at The Ritz (Literally) or you’re in what looks like a hybrid between a holiday inn and a fifth wheel trailer with a mattress from before the war. Walking into the entrance at Art Deco Imperial was divine.

The property is stunning. Truly, there  is so much detail down from the historic tiles, grand staircase and even the details of the doorknobs. It’s easy to tell that the hotel is kept up with great care and was recently redone beautifully. The rooms are impeccable. As you can see in the photos, they are every bit luxurious and spacious. The beds were so comfortable, the room was clean, and the bathroom had great linens. Which are three things that I look for the most when vetting hotels!

Nestled on the cobblestone streets of the historic district in Prague, you’re in walking distance to the famous Old Town Square and within arms reach of great restaurants and shopping. There is also a train station about 10 minutes away if you need to get transportation or you can walk to the river within 10 minutes as well. I personally loved this location because it was quiet at night, I always felt safe and it was easy to get anywhere in the city.

Wether you’re traveling alone or with a partner, I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. It’s a no brainer!

A tid bit of history on Art Deco Imperial:

Dating all the way back to the 14th Century, this stunning property was originally a house that burned down during the war in the 16th century. TIme stood still on this stunning property until the 1830s where it was converted into an inn and has been changed with time to the stunning property it is today. When visiting the property you can see the immense detail that went into everything from the doorknobs to the grand staircase and entry way.
